Our unique Teach in China programs include the following
comprehensive features, designed to offer a rewarding teaching
experience. You will not only teach English to Chinese but also
immerse in the Chinese life, culture and language.
Salary
You will be offer a competitive local salary. The salary will
commensurate with your teaching experience and your education
background. Even the lowest salary is more than enough to live in
China. In fact, you will be able to live a very comfortable and luxury
life in China plus you will be provided with a free beautiful
apartment.
Remuneration
Besides a good local salary, you will also receive a wide
range of benefits such as free accommodation, free trip package, free
Chinese Language classes, Art and Culture programs, Medical Insurance,
etc (see below).
Free Accommodation
Our onsite Accommodations Officer inspect all accommodation
placements to ensure that they are clean and comfortable. You will be
placed in an individual apartment fully furnished including beds,
kitchen, TV, 24 hour hot water, air-conditioning, heating, and a
bathroom.
Free Mandarin Classes
These optional free classes on “survival Mandarin” are held
regularly and are taught by native Chinese teachers. You will be taught
practical everyday Chinese. Textbooks are supplied at no additional
cost. Total beginner to advanced level classes are offered.
Free Guided Excursions
Guided tours are held free of charge on weekends for you to
discover the city's major historical and cultural attractions. For
example, in Beijing, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tian'anmen
Square, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and Lama Temple. Admission,
transportation and English speaking guides will be provided. These tours
provide an opportunity for you to deepen your knowledge of China's rich
cultural heritage.
Free Cultural Programs
Learn about Chinese art and culture through a series of
introductory workshops on Traditional Chinese Massage and Medicine,
Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Chinese Songs or Taichi.
Workshops are taught by experienced and qualified instructors.
Teacher Exchange Program
Interaction with Chinese teachers on a one-to-one basis is
available through this program. This feature provides international
teachers with support from their Chinese counterparts. Participants
benefit from this program which has been the source of many long lasting
friendships.
Free Social and Sporting Activities
A wide range of activities are organized throughout the program
including a welcome lunch, Peking Duck feast, karaoke, bowling night,
basketball, and other events. Dinners and social evenings are held
regularly by local schools.
Orientation
An orientation session will be given on banking, health,
transport, and food. You will also be provided a guided tour of the
local school or university and its facilities. Accommodation is provided
throughout the entire orientation and training period.
Teacher Training
Candidates without teaching qualifications will be given a TEFL
orientation in the first week and continuing workshops, and mentoring
throughout the program.
Emergency Travel and Medical Insurance
You will be provided Emergency Travel and Medical Insurance to
cover any unforeseen medical circumstances.
Onsite Teacher Support Staff
Mentor supervision and support will be provided by locally
placed professional teaching staff with years of experience in teaching
English as a Foreign Language provide. In addition, Administrative
Support staff will be available throughout the program to assist you for
information, advice and assistance.
Teaching Certificate
All teachers will be awarded a formal certificate upon
completion of the program. The certificate will confirm that you have
successfully taken part in the program and record details such as the
duration, program dates, teaching hours and host institution. A letter
of reference will also be supplied on request.
Airport Pickup and Transfer
One of our friendly staff will meet you at the airport and
transport you to your accommodation. When departing, you will also be
provided with free airport transfer.
Visa
Successful candidates will be provided with all necessary
support documents required by the Ministry of Education and the
Consulate or Embassy of the People's Republic of China.
